EASL aims to support Young Investigators and helps them to attend The International Liver Congress™ by providing bursaries to cover travel and accommodation costs. Scientists with an excellent abstract that is accepted for presentation at the meeting will be considered for support.
EASL offers 2 types of bursaries (full and registration bursaries) to the presenting authors only of the best accepted abstracts who are aged 35 or under (as of 11 April 2019) or are still in training.
The application is available during the abstract submission process, to anyone fulfilling the above criteria, without geographical restrictions.
